HELP - Buyer's Perspective

9. What does the 'Status' of the response imply?
The status of the response is:

UNREAD: The response has not been opened by you.

UNDER REVIEW: The response has been opened and is under consideration.

NEGOTIATING: You have requested additional information from the supplier and have sent a notification to this effect.

DECLINED: You have chosen to decline the response.

ACCEPTED: You have chosen to accept the response.

The same status of the response is also reflected in the supplier's RFI Center.

10. Am I legally obligated to work with a supplier once I accept their response?
By "Accepting" a supplier's response, you do not enter into any contract with that supplier, nor are you obligated to do business with that supplier. It is suggested, however, that you use the "Accept" button with some discretion, and make it clear to the supplier that you'd like to finalise their proposal offline.

11. I don't find the RFI I've posted anywhere on the system. Why?
Since the RFI mechanism is designed to ensure speedy fulfillment of immediate needs, an RFI is automatically deleted after 30 days from its expiry date. You as a buyer would, however, have been informed of this impending action by an e-mail from ManuBiz TechMarket.
